Virgin Media TiVo app has landed!
Virgin Media, the phone, TV and broadband internet service provider has just announced the arrival of their Android TiVo app. The company is also circling the iOS platform with an expected iPhone app in the works.
It has also been rumoured that an iPad app is set to follow soon as the company looks poised to jump on the Smartphone wagon like its competitor Sky.
Sky, for obvious reasons has similar functionality to that of Virgin Media and their longstanding Sky+ Record app has proved a winning formula with Sky customers.
Alex Green, Virgins executive director of commercial TV had this to say:
“We think Virgin Media’s TiVo Service is the best way to watch TV and our new mobile app enhances that experience by ensuring you’ll never miss recording a programme whilst out and about.
“Our TiVo service already offers the most flexible and comprehensive recording options and features, which this new service complements.”
