The Windows Start button disappears forever!

After 17 years at the foot of your desktop screen, the trusty start button has disappeared forever. In Windows 8 consumer preview, the start button has disappeared forever. The functionality of course is replaced by the Metro interface as well as a hot spot on the legacy interface. This of course is a sad day for windows users, the trusty start button has been with them since Windows 95.

However of course this also is a great day, as it sees the first major rethinking of the Windows enviroment UI, since Windows XP in 2001, and the first time that it has properly been altered since Windows 95.

To see whether it works then we will have to just wait!!!
