Spotify heading to the US?

The Swedish music streaming service has recently confirmed that they plan to conquer the United States music market.
With an already large European user base, Spotify looks set to expand as they opened their doors for registration on their US website.

US users can now see a sign up page on the Spotify website which reads:

The award-winning music service that’s taken Europe by storm will soon be landing on US shores. Millions of tracks ready to play instantly, on your computer and your phone.

At the end of all the hype, what users really want to know is the cost. The rumoured pricing is said to be around $15 for a month’s ad-free usage, which is nearly the same price of Spotify here in the UK with £9.99 a month gets you the Premium subscription.
