New Skype Android update – more phones enables for two-way video calling

Skype have released an update enabling video calling on a broader spectrum of Android smartphones

An updated version of Skype appeared on the Android Market today with the crucial improvement of two-way video calling on a wide range of current Android handsets, rather than the previous four handsets that already possessed this feature. So users with a recent phone from HTC, Samsung or Sony Ericsson (excluding the Arc), LG Revolution and Acer A5 owners can now get up close and personal with their Skype conversations. Having Gingerbread on your phone is crucial as Froyo only allows the rear camera to be used during the call which obviously has its downsides. Click here for the full list of supported handsets.
