Netflix set to make a 2012 UK launch?
It appears that the popular US movie streaming service, Netflix is preparing to make a UK landing very soon, according to sources at the Hollywood bible ‘Variety’.
Although Netflix themselves have declined to comment on the matter just yet, sources claim that the company could open for business in the UK in the first quarter of next year. As everyone knows already, Lovefilm’s DVD rental and streaming service is very similar to Netflix and is considered by many to be the UKs equivalent, we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
So, GadgetCore readers, what do you think of this exciting news? Are you excited to see Netflix coming and will you sign up or are you happy with Lovefilm?

No it's not good considering I just signed up for LOVEFiLM. The online LOVEFILM service is good, but lacking in decent features. It's like when YouTUbe was a young fledgling, and hopefully the LOVEFiLM online streaming will get better.
If not, then Netflix probably stands chance, although LOVEFiLM have already captured the UK market. Will Netflix provide enough to sway people over to them?

I'll be one of the first to switch to netflix if they have captions/subtitles for online films. I enjoy using lovefilm but cannot watch their films online because I'm deaf and they don't have a captions option (unless they're foreign with english subtitles). Bit silly as everything from bbc iplayer to 4OD have a subtitles option. Even Youtube does. Lovefilm are so far behind in that respect.
