Microvision’s SHOWWX+ pico projector – now with HDMI upgrade

Microvision have now upgraded the functionality of their SHOWWX+ pico projector with a HDMI port and HD streaming.

The new projector, aptly named SHOWWX+HDMI retains all the qualities of it’s predecessor, with its 15 laser lumens, a 5,000:1 native contrast ratio, and 2-hour battery life, while adding the possibility to use the device with any HDMI-equipped machine, such as the Blackberry Playbook (pictured above). However, not all devices will support full video mirroring. Unfortunately, it is still displaying an 848 x 480 native resolution but if 1080p’s is not a problem for you then you can get this online for $370.
