‘Google’ killing off blogging and photo brands!

Wave goodbye to Google Blogger and Picasa because Google is apparently killing them off soon. The reports come from a source at the social-tech news site Mashable claiming that both services would get a much needed rebranding as a result of the new Google+ social network announcement. The changes are scheduled to go ahead in 4-6 weeks time.
The rebranding starts with Picasa, the image viewer and organiser with a photo-sharing website is to be redesigned with a new name: ‘Google Photos’ and Blogger, the blog-publishing service will become ‘Google Blogs’.
This now begs to question, where is YouTube in all this, will it get a rebranding too? Well, according to Google, the video-sharing site is to keep its Google-free title and out of Google’s redesign radar.
