Google IO

Google IO continues today with expected release of an announcment regarding Android 2.2. Furthermore, there has been some speculation of a ‘Google TV’, but is this too good to be true? The best non-nexus one users can hope for is quick and speedy release of android 2.2 by our phone manufacturers, so fingers crossed.

Here’s some info Google posted about the event themselves:

“Join us for two days of deep technical content featuring Android, Google Chrome, Google APIs, GWT, App Engine, open web technologies, and more. Google I/O features 80 sessions, more than 5,000 developers, and over 100 demonstrations from developers showcasing their technologies. Talk shop with engineers building the next generation of web, mobile, and enterprise applications.”

More updates on the Google IO conference will be released shortly, so stay tuned.

UPDATE: new and accurate rumors are suggesting a Google keynote on 2.2 tomorrow. Stay tuned…
