GAMEBOID on Android (and other emulators)
Hey readers,
Bored with the current, modern games you find on your phone? Well look not that much further!! With the current emulators you can download (some for free, like the lite versions) you can start reminiscing in the good old days with such emus like Gameboid, Nesoid, GBCoid and etc etc.
To get started, go to the Android market, search up “emulator” or more specifically as an example “gameboid emulator lite” and download the thing! However, it’s not as simple as that. First go on to google on you computer, and search for, as another example, gba_bios.bin (it tells you which one you need). Download that, and place it anywhere on your SD card.
Whilst you’re at it, find a cool ROM site – I use www.coolrom.com – and download any ROM you want for the emu you’ve chosen. Also place this anywhere in your SD card folder on your phone.
Open up the Emulator, click search for the bios.bin file or browse to locate it yourself, then choose the ROM and you – are – off!
You can also customise the keys and stuff, but most of that stuff already good once you load it up. Have fun!
George.
