Apple's Injunction Bid Terror finally Ended?

Recently, Apple fired a “preliminary injunction” at Amazon’s way – claiming that the names Apple App Store and Amazon App Store (not an original name I must admit) were too similar and that Amazon should have to change it or be sued. The claim is ridiculous considering App Store, as many people have mentioned, is the equivalent of saying “Car Dealership” or “Phone Shop”… It’s frankly absurd, and I think most will be glad to hear that the judge denied the request.

Hoorah!

What were Apple thinking? That all their customers would get confused between the two, because people are that stupid? No, I don’t think so. I think Apple’s being a bit sour – taking any chance they can to try and show the world “who’s boss”. However, this time Apple failed, and Amazon prevailed.
