Adobe’s InMarket and AIR marketplace set to disappear for good
Adobe’s InMarket, the marketplace which allowed developers to create and distribute software anywhere, is set to be shut down by the software company

You would not be blamed if you had no clue what Adobe’s InMarket was about and there is no need to research any further as Adobe have realised that this developer-marketplace has become obsolete and they plan to shutter the service come August 31st, leaving developers with a little over a month to download analytics and revenue reports. Adobe’s AIR Marketplace has also been deemed redundant by the software company as AIR apps can be published on Cupertino’s App Store, the Android Market and BlackBerry’s App World.
First Google shut down any unnecessary experiments in their Google Labs and now Adobe are rethinking their developer strategy, seems like the advances in mobile technology are rapidly changing the face of the developer’s world.
