HTC Evo 4G – Review

The HTC Evo 4G is most likely the best spec’d Android phone to date with a 4.3 inch display and a snapdragon processor plus an 8.1 mp camera and of course a rare oddity, the hdmi out socket.
For the American readers it is similar in specs to the Incredible but with a bigger screen which really takes HTC’s Sense UI to a new and exciting level. For our European readers the best Android phone they can get at the moment is the Desire with similar specs to the Evo but with a smaller OLED screen and only 5.0 mp and obviously minus the hdmi out.
Our verdict is that the phone is great and easily the best Android phone available anywhere in the world, but sadly it won’t be available any time soon in Europe.

In that case, it's probably something related to the fact they only sell with Sprint contracts, which is an American provider. Possibly? I'm very sorry, but I cannot be certain.
Ok to make this clear for everybody, the Evo has 4g WiMax technology allowing it to be first phone to take advantage of Sprint's wimax 4g network. The iPhone on the other hand will probably not be called 4g to stop confusion, in fact the iPhone was made for at&t who are gsm not cdma like Sprint. at&t do not have a 4g network yet so the iPhone will not have 4g like sprint. And if you wondering why we dont have 4g yet is the fact that were still rolling out hspda and 3g. I wouldn't worry as the centre of london will soon have 4g. And to be extra clear the iphone 4 will not have 4g technology due to its gsm network and the fact that nearly no gsm networks have 4g at the moment.
Thanks for your interest :) I cannot be certain, but I believe that the best feature of the Evo (its WiMax 4G feature) is negligible in the UK and probably in most of the other countries in Europe - it's effectively useless (as far as 4G is concerned). So unfortunately, they do not plan to release the phone in the near future, however; there will most likely be 'sibling' phones made by HTC with similar properties.
Thank you for taking the time to go to with me these days. Your words of encouragement lifted my spirits and I have a a lot much better point of view on large picture. I truly enjoy your thoughtfulness.
