Wii U to launch in the UK and Europe by the end of the Year!
The much awaited successor to the Wii gaming system will be released by the end of the year, as confirmed by Nintendo itself. The gaming system which brings dual screen gaming to the masses and improved graphics over the original Wii is meant to be Nintendo’s fight back against more established serious gaming machines such as the Xbox and PS3. The Wii U controllers still are much discussed, featuring a seven inch screen, for dual play. Obviously the controllers won’t be cheap, most likely around the £100 mark, but original Wii style controllers can also be used. Whether this is enough to turn Nintendo’s fates around is besides the question, but what this is is a return of high end gaming for Nintendo.
Let’s hope that it goes down better than the Nintendo 3DS, which is still low in units shipped, despite its price reduction.
