Verizon aims a rocket at its Samsung 4G LTE MIFI Hotspot
In an attempt to start the conversation about its LTE data speeds Verizon is debuting Mythbuster type ads, and as we know it isn’t Mythbusters unless something explodes. First they attempt to download an entire movie in the 18 minute window before take off. They then litterally aim a rocket at a Samsung 4G LTE MIFI Hotspot. The challenge see what can be downloaded between rocket take off and MIFI destruction. No real numbers are given in either commercial outside the 18 minutes and an ambiguous 900 which is the distance the rocket must travel. As we all know numbers make a huge difference. But it looks like Verizon is gearing up the advertising machine. Catch the videos after the break
