UK owners of the Transformer Prime to get extended warranties!

AS a counter measure to the recently seen faults with the transformer Prime’s GPS chip, ASUS has decided to give users an extra 6months worth of warranty to try and sweeten the deal. Especially considering they’ve already announced an HD version of the tablet for later this year without the fore-said problems. Asus advises anybody concerned about the problem to take the tablet back to the place of purchase and get a refund, but as for us, we still think that it’s probably the best tablet on the market right now, and after all what WiFi only tablet needs GPS, the iPad certainly doesn’t!

Asus is now advertising the tablet without any GPS functionality, so if you can get a lock then this really is kind of an extra feature!
