Today’s Tech Update

Hi everybody, it has been a long time since our last tech update due to minor problems with the website that you may or may not have noticed over the last day or two. We are really sorry for this and hope that you do not mind too much for the inconvenience.

  • Well today we start off once again with Apple, but this time it is a 3rd party hack that has caught the news. Yes, using the froyo source code a developer has managed to transplant flash 10.1 onto the iPad. All you need is and= iPad that has been jail-broken, a Mac or Windows or Linux PC with SSH software, and also a bit of bravery. But otherwise it has been reported to work and you can trust that this hacker – they are skilled as this is his second major Apple hack following the spirit jailbreak.
  • Also making it to the news is the Logitech Google TV box. This time it has officially made it through the FCC looking for a November release.
  • So far T-mobile USA have “accidentally” leaked their roadmap for the year, which shows the release date of the Vibrant but also some other interesting phones. These are mostly from HTC, one is of course a Windows 7 phone. One is a Desire type phone with a sliding qwerty keypad and of course the other is the long awaited HTC Scorpion or God phone. With specs greater than any phone on the market today.
  • And just to spice things up a bit an iPod touch 4th gen model has had its front cover photographed sporting a facetime camera and also a 5mp shooter on the back. Somehow I don;t think the 5MP is true but facetime is a possibility due to the wifi only limitation.

Well that’s all folks. See you next time for another edition of Tech Update.
