The Samsung ATIV S

IFA has brought us many things today but now the Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone flagship device has been announced. Samsung’s new ATIV brand is for everything Windows so far, akin to Galaxy for Android. The ATIV S is thus akin to the Galaxy S line. We are pleased to say that Samsung have made a device just as good as its Android brother if not better in terms of build quality. The device features prominently a 4.8inch HD Super AMOLED display as well as blazingly fast 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor along with an 8MP camera and a 1.3MP front facing camera. The device is the first device made by Samsung consisting of an Aluminium Shell, which frankly we’ve all been craving since Day 1, the ATIV S also features an extremely healthy 2300mAh battery ensuring long hours of use. The phone is the first which has been announced to feature Microsoft’s brand new OS, Windows Phone 8 which compliments the upcoming Windows 8 desktop OS. The ATIV S will be available in October later this year with all the other Windows Phone and Windows 8 devices.
