Nintendo 3DS Prices Lower Dramatically [From August 12th]

Nintendo have announced that the price of their most recent handheld console device, the 3DS, will see a major drop in price starting August 12th. In the US the price drop will be as massive as $249 down to $169! That in the UK should equate to a £50 change! This I imagine will be quite frustrating for those who paid the full price…

But do not fret! Previous customers of the 3DS will receive 20 free games – 10 NES Virtual Games and 10 Game Boy Advance games. Do you think the price difference is worth those gameS?

It seems almost like a desperate move from Nintedo to try and shift as many 3DS consoles as possible, especially considering the pressure in on with Sony’s upcoming ‘Vita’, the super-handheld console.
