Mac Pro recieving major update in 2013!

The highly expensive and powerful Mac Pro work station received only a minor update on Monday at WWDC. The Mac Pro hasn’t received anything but a minor spec bump since early 2008, leaving the high end desktop trailing behind the more consumer focussed iMac in terms of looks, technology and value for money. We’re really hoping it is a major update to the Mac but if not we can’t see this baby living on much longer. New York Times technology columnist David Pogue spoke to an anonymous Apple executive who said that the company’s desktops are getting a makeover, perhaps by 2013.
