Is Mac OSX Lion, the vista of OSX?

According to a variety of sources, Mac OSX Lion has as many bugs as Microsoft’s ill fated OS, Windows Vista? So far we are hearing mixed reports, some claiming that it’s awful, while others claim that it is perfectly fine. So what’s the deal?

From my research I can definitely confirm that Lion has multiple bugs, especially on older machines, however the number of bugs cannot be confirmed. But it doesn’t quite seem to be Vista bad, merely Vista SP1 bad! So what’s going to happen? Will there be a quick “Mountain Lion” upgrade?

So what’s wrong with it? Pros seem to hate it more, much like the recent failing Final Cut Pro, they feel that Apple have simplified it too much, sacrificing to many features. After all surely Launchpad iOS style launcher is a bit basic for a full blown PC?

Furthermore I think I should work for Apple, as I suggested the name Mountain Lion months ago! [...]
