Google TV comes to the UK, finally!

Google’s TV service has long been overdue in the UK. The devices which run a TV version of Google’s Android OS, feature apps off of the play store as well as the largely popular chrome web browser. While the device itself is highly useful as an extension of your current TV service, it has a small selection of channels mostly of the Youtube variety.

Thankfully developers are becoming more interested in it, hoping that it will unify the OSs currently running on different makes of TV at the moment. One thing is for sure though, we don’t expect this worry the conventional TV providers.

The Sony NSZ-GS7 will launch on July 16th for a yet to be confirmed price.
