Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 2 Heading to Tegra Devices?

A rumour has recently surfaced that the much anticipated sequel to the hit game, Borderlands, might be coming to Android devices sporting the Tegra 3 Processor. The rumour comes from Android and Me who claim that Gearbox brought a Tegra 3 tablet to PDXLAN 19 in Oregon. According to Android and Me the tablet was running a version of the upcoming game Borderlands 2. This is certainly exciting news if the rumours are true – possibly paving the way for some of the first extremely decent games to run on tablets. Maybe moving the tablet market even more towards the gamer market?

It’s already slated to be released on all major consoles at expect, being PS3, 360 and PC – but tablets will make a lovely addition to that set. As others have said, this would do great things for the view of the mobile gaming platform to serious gamers and game critics, especially if it comes with Borderlands’ level of graphics and gameplay. Stay tuned for more news.
