CES 2012: ASUS Eee PC 1225B Announced, Prepare for Release in February

ASUS’s latest Eee PC Netbook has been officially announced, and is slated for public release in February around the price mark of $399 (£260). The specs are pretty bewildering, considering they fit into such a small, lightweight package: 1.6GHz Dual-Core AMD, 2GB of RAM with room for upgrade up to 4GB and a hopefully beautiful 12.1 inch back-lit LED screen, and weighing in at a mere 3.1 pounds! It shall also come bundled with Windows 7 Home Edition, rather than the run-of-the-mill Starter Edition, for a nice change. Furthermore, ASUS claim it will have roughly 6 hours battery life, but further details are still unknown.
