Blackberry 9900 UK release Delayed until September
BGR is reporting that RIM’s upcoming Bold 9900 has been delayed until September, which is a bit later than the expected “Summer” release quoted back at BlackBerry World. This is definitely a disappointment to some, claiming that this is the phone that can save the Blackberry platform from utter extinction. Completely different to the original date!
Anyway let’s hope that it’s worth the wait!

The Blackberry 9900 actually looks like a pretty powerful single-core chip phone. ...How well it does in the smartphone market, will depent heavily on costs.because there are lots of dual-core hansets on the market like the Sensation and Galaxy S2 that would put this baby to shame. If the Blackberry marketing team picth it at that level and in that price bracket, the 9900 should sell well! Rim need this one to work coz they havn't come up with any spectacular phones in a few years (other than the playbook)but thats not a phone
I am sooooo excited about this! My old Bold 9000 was stolen, so I will be waiting patiently for this new release (as I must make do with my old Samsung for now). I will certainly not succumb to the i-phone mafia, lol.
