AMD to make own brand RAM!

When we heard about this we couldn’t quite believe it, obviously AMD really is diversifying, first making processors then buying ATI and making GPUs and now making DDR3 RAM. The RAM would be made by Patriot and VisionTek including 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB modules ranging from entry-level 1,333MHz to high-end 1,866MHz speeds. The key idea here is selling pc parts as a package, RAM, GPU, Motherboard and the CPU. Ideal for maximising profit and insuring brand loyalty. As intel are becoming increasingly threatened by ARM type processors AMD are obviously seizing the chance to diversify their market.
